Students and Start-ups is based on the premise that students want meaningful and relevent employment and start-ups want energetic and enthusiastic employess. In our previous 10 events we have had 24 successful hires from some of Ottawa's leading start-ups like; YOUi Labs, Zeebu Mobile, Infonium, Norada, Purple Forge and our two new testimonial videos coming soon; Koneka and Momentous from SNS-10. Students are required to pay a commitment fee of $10 ... WTF! Students have no money why do we have to pay? This isn't a charge for the event it is exactly what the name says a commitment fee. We want to motivate you to attend. TheCodeFactory and start-ups have committed time and resources to the event and it is important everyone have skin in the game.
